Metal Stud Framer/Drywall HangerDanis is currently hiring for a full-time metal stud framer/drywall hanger in commercial construction with project types including hospitals, life sciences, food & bev manufacturing and more. Join our team of professionals dedicated to delivering exceptional results in every project.ResponsibilitiesDuties:Install track and studs from 14 to 20 gaugeAble to use laser levelsAble to use fast-track and power actuated toolsAble to measure cuts for drywallAbility to read specs for proper drywall placementAbility to pull wall measurementsAbility to plan work and be prepared with proper toolsAdditional Responsibilities:Assist in the training/orientation of employees when neededAssist in the employment processes as requestedPromote teamwork and positive communication among employeesAttend and participate in miscellaneous site meetings, sharing knowledge, information, and ideas when neededSkills and Abilities:Work rapidly and accurately with handsAbility to accurately read drawingsCalculate how much material is neededFollow set procedures and standardsPicture objects from drawings or diagramsRate information using standards that can be measured or checkedWork within precise limits or standards of accuracyEffectively communicate verbally with co-workersEffectively manage one's time and deal with problems that ariseEffectively work with other employees in a positive mannerWillingness and ability to gain knowledge or and consistently practice basic Safety And Health RegulationsAble to attend to job duties on a consistent, timely basisQualificationsEducation and Experience:Minimum 3 years' experience working with drywall on commercial (non-residential) jobs.High School Diploma or GED preferred.Additional Requirements:Pass a pre-employment drug testHave reliable transportationWorking Conditions:Work is often performed outside under any type of weather conditions. Exposure to varying degrees/amounts of heat, cold, dust, dampness, ice, precipitation and mud.Physical Demands:Must be able to: Climb and maintain balance on scaffolds and ladders; use arms and hands to reach for, handle and manipulate objects and materials; lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds repetitively to meet the physical demands of our industry.
