Required Skills & Experience

Required Qualifications \t• 5+ years of experience in vehicle testing, dynamometer operations, or test cell environments \t• Experience operating chassis dynamometers or similar vehicle testing equipment \t• Understanding of drive cycles, drive traces, and vehicle test procedures \t• Experience setting up, securing, and operating vehicles on a dynamometer \t• Familiarity with dynamometer maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting \t• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams \t• Basic electrical troubleshooting experience \t• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude \t• Experience working independently in an R&D or vehicle test environment Valid driver's license and ability to operate test vehicles

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Preferred Qualifications \t• Experience with AVL dynamometer systems \t• Familiarity with AVL PUMA, iGEM, and VCON software \t• Exposure to high-voltage vehicle systems \t• Experience supporting EV, hybrid, or electrified powertrain testing \t• Familiarity with vehicle instrumentation and data acquisition systems \t• Prior experience supporting certification, emissions, or durability testing Experience working in environmental test chambers

Job Description

Key Responsibilities \t• Operate and support chassis dynamometer testing of prototype and production vehicles \t• Prepare dynamometer systems for testing, including warm-up procedures and equipment setup \t• Load, position, restrain, and remove vehicles from the dyno safely and efficiently \t• Execute test cycles and drive traces using AVL dyno control systems \t• Monitor test execution and ensure adherence to established procedures \t• Troubleshoot test cell, vehicle, instrumentation, and dyno-related issues \t• Perform basic dyno maintenance, calibrations, and equipment inspections \t• Function as the first line of support before engaging equipment vendors for troubleshooting \t• Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams \t• Assist with installation and modification of test harnesses and instrumentation \t• Support high-voltage vehicle testing activities while following safety procedures \t• Coordinate vehicle charging and preparation activities between test events \t• Support testing within environmental chambers operating from -40°C to +50°C Work closely with engineers and technicians to ensure successful test execution and data collection
