Client Overview: Our client, an innovative organization in the consumer wellness technology industry, is seeking an E-Commerce Lead to join their team.
Role Overview: In this full-time role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the online sales channel, ensuring an exceptional customer experience, and driving strategic growth across digital platforms. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of technology, wellness, and design, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver a best-in-class e-commerce presence.
Execute e-commerce strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
Leverage sales data and analytics to inform marketing spend and future business direction.
Recommend and implement growth strategies across new channels, customer segments, and markets.
Oversee day-to-day operations of the online store, including product listings and inventory management.
Optimize website user experience (UX) to improve conversion rates, retention, and satisfaction.
Analyze performance metrics and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
Monitor integration of e-commerce platforms and third-party tools, collaborating with technical teams as needed.
Coordinate with operations teams to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
Develop and manage the e-commerce budget for efficient resource allocation.
Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies on digital marketing campaigns.
Maintain the site content calendar and contribute to creative workflow processes.
Manage and optimize the martech stack for maximum marketing effectiveness.
Implement SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and drive traffic.
Advise on brand blog cadence and content workflow processes.
Monitor, analyze, and report on website performance using analytics tools to identify trends.
Stay current with e-commerce trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance the online shopping experience.
E-Commerce Lead Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, E-commerce, or related field.
4+ years of experience in direct-to-consumer (DTC) e-commerce management, preferably within wellness or technology sectors.
Proven track record of driving online sales growth and improving key e-commerce metrics in new or high-growth business environments.
Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms, digital marketing strategies, and analytics tools (e.g., GA4, Adobe Analytics, Tableau).
Demonstrated project management skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Experience with UX/UI principles and website design is advantageous.
Budget ownership experience with a focus on ROI optimization is a plus.
Familiarity with Amazon Vendor Central or Seller Central is beneficial.
Experience developing global e-commerce strategies is a plus.
Positive attitude with strong sense of ownership and ability to drive initiatives forward.
