Job description
The Legal Aid Society of Mid-New York, Inc. (LASMNY) seeks an experienced Staff Attorney for the Tenant Defense Project to help tenants maintain safe housing.
The role focuses on out-of-court intervention, negotiation with landlords, and administrative advocacy across Central New York, Mohawk Valley, and the Southern Tier. Responsibilities include representing tenants in administrative proceedings, coordinating housing subsidies and public benefits, and testifying when needed.
