nThe Barnes-Jewish Hospital Cardiac Diagnostic Lab provides non-invasive diagnostic services to inpatient and outpatient populations in conjunction with our partners, Washington University Physicians. The department provides the following services to our patients: Transthoracic Echocardiograms (TTE), Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE), Stress Echocardiograms, Nuclear Stress Tests, Treadmill Exercise Stress Tests, Event and Holter Monitors and EKG Processing.
nPreferred Qualifications
nRole Purpose
nSupports the report processing and distribution functions associated with the Cardiac Diagnostic Lab. Also provides clerical support, manages database systems, and performs holters.
nResponsibilities
nnnHooks up and instructs patients in the use of monitors (as and when required).
n
nnSchedules appointments for outpatients and inpatients services.
n
nnResponsible for processing patient’s registrations, appointment check-ins and insurance verifications.
n
nnManage heavy phone volume with referring providers.
n
nnResponsible for the clerical management of the ECG database systems (as and when required).
