Job Title: Echocardiology Technician (Acute Care) Location: Hot Springs, AR Employment Type: Full-Time (In-Person) Salary: $59,259 - $89,107 per year
Job Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled Echocardiology Technician to join a premier Healthcare facility in Hot Springs, AR. In this role, you will be an integral part of the Cardiology Services team, performing high-quality cardiac ultrasound examinations within an acute-care setting. You will work closely with medical staff to ensure accurate, timely diagnostics and provide exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Excellence: Perform high-quality echocardiograms (ECHO) and related cardiac ultrasound procedures per professional standards.
Patient Advocacy: Review patient histories, provide clear procedural education, and monitor patient status throughout exams.
Equipment Mastery: Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain advanced ultrasound imaging equipment.
Documentation: Analyze imaging results, accurately document clinical findings, and manage report transmission efficiently.
Clinical Support: Administer contrast media as ordered by physicians and maintain a safe, clean clinical environment.
Required Qualifications: Education: Associate's degree preferred.
Training: Mandatory training in Cardiac Sonography and Carotid imaging.
Certification: * BLS certification required.
Echo Registry certification preferred (registry-eligible candidates must obtain it within one year of hire).
Soft Skills: Strong critical thinking, ability to work independently, and comfort in fast-paced, high-stress clinical environments.
Schedule & Benefits: Shift: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM.
Call Rotation: Participation in a call rotation (approx. 50/50 nights/weekends required).
