Job description
Position SummaryThis Position will require the employee to perform tasks that are integral to a farm, ranch, and feedlot. This will include but is not limited to working with cattle, operating large equipment, and general maintenance and repairs.Essential Job DutiesOperating heavy equipment, loading and feeding cattle in a feedlotAnimal health and wellness inspections; Calving aidDoctoring and vaccinating cattleHeavy equipment maintenanceMonitor and move cattle out on pastureFarmingFence repairWeldingMinimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma, General Education Development (GED), or equivalent required.2 years' experience with cattle in cow-calf or feedlot operations including large equipmentStandard heavy equipment maintenanceExperience maintaining detailed records and operating under budgetary constraints.$38,000-$42,000
