Sentara is hiring new Registered Nurses for our special Level Up to Level I Trauma ED Program at Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia.
This is an exciting opportunity for new Grad RNs seeking to land in the Emergency Department (ED)!

Overview:

This role involves assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, delivering treatments, and supporting patients and families with education and compassionate service. The RN collaborates within an interdisciplinary team to monitor patient progress, make clinical adjustments, and advocate for the best patient outcomes, ensuring safety and adherence to evidence-based practices.
All Direct Care RN's required to have BLS within 90 days of hire.
Education
RN Degree REQUIRED
Certification/Licensure
Virginia RN License REQUIRED
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required within 90-days of hire
Experience
Prior RN experience PREFERRED

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $36.00 - $36.00 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs. Sentara Norfolk General Hospital , located in Norfolk, VA, is a 525-bed tertiary care facility that is home to the only Level I Adult Trauma Center and burn trauma unit in Hampton Roads, and also serves as the primary teaching hospital for Eastern Virginia Medical School.
