EDM Mold MachinistA Cleveland, Ohio area manufacture is hiring a Senior Level CNC EDM Mold Machinist (Wire and Sinker). This is a permanent, full-time position in a high-precision, tight-tolerance tool and die/mold building environment. The EDM Machinist will be responsible for the end-to-end programming, operation, scheduling, and maintenance of both Wire and Sinker EDM equipment.ResponsibilitiesProgram, set up, and operate CNC Wire and Sinker EDM machines to produce highly intricate shapes with extreme precision.Manage and schedule workflow through the EDM department to meet tight production deadlines.Machine components within tight tolerances typical of high-quality mold building.Perform preventative maintenance on EDM equipment, including wire spooling, electrode management, and maintaining fluid/deionized water filtration systems.Assist with manual grinding and mold assembly tasks as needed to support the toolroom team.RequirementsProven experience programming and operating CNC Wire EDM and/or CNC Sinker EDM machines.Strong understanding of blueprint reading, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), and precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers).Experience working in a tight-tolerance mold building or tool & die shop setting.Hands-on experience with surface grinding and manual mold assembly is highly preferred.High School diploma, GED and Technical degree or Journeyman card in machining.BenefitsMedical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance401(k) with Company MatchPaid Vacation, Paid HolidaysTool and Safety Equipment Reimbursement AllowanceCareer advancement opportunities
