We serve a wide range of industries including automotive, medical, military/defense, marine, and commercial sectors.Why Work With Us: Competitive salary: $35–$40/hour (based on experience) Full benefits package including Health & Dental insurance Paid Holidays & Paid Time Off Supportive, team-focused culture Small company settingPosition Summary: The EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining) Programmer/Operator is responsible for programming, setting up, and operating wire and sinker EDM machines to manufacture precision components to tight tolerances. This role requires strong attention to detail, technical expertise, and the ability to interpret complex engineering drawings.Key Responsibilities:Program wire and sinker EDM machinesSet up machines, including workholding, electrodes, and toolingRead and interpret blueprints, CAD models, and technical drawingsSelect appropriate machine settings (feeds, speeds, offsets)Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as neededMaintain tight tolerances and uphold high-quality standardsTroubleshoot machine issues and improve processesAssist with quoting new jobsQualifications:2+ years of EDM programming and operating experienceProficiency with Mastercam and SolidWorksKnowledge of tooling, electrode design, materials, and fixture designAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a teamStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsHigh level of attention to detailPreferred Skills:Experience in a high-precision manufacturing environmentFamiliarity with continuous improvement practices
