Cardiology Practice OpportunityHamilton Cardiology Associates is a full-service cardiology practice comprised of Board-Certified Cardiologists, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants, as well as Registered Nurses, Certified Technologists, and critical personnel who function as a team to meet the needs of our patients. Our mission is to provide the highest level of quality, accessible medical care to our patients. Our comprehensive approach expands our treatment to include preventative and educational services. In partnership with our patients and referring physicians, we strive for excellence in our efforts to improve the quality of life for our patients.What We're Looking ForExperience working in a medical office or clinical setting preferredEKG experience strongly preferredCertified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferredFriendly and professional communication skillsStrong attention to detailAbility to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environmentDependable, punctual, and team-orientedComfortable working directly with physicians, clinical staff, and patientsStrong computer skills, including EHR systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookWillingness to assist wherever needed to keep patient flow and office operations running smoothlyScheduleMonday – FridayHours are generally between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., depending on the physician's schedule.What You'll DoClinical & EKG ResponsibilitiesWelcome patients and prepare them for their visitEscort patients to exam rooms according to established protocolsObtain and document height, weight, and vital signsPerform EKGsReview patient records for accuracy and completenessMaintain appropriate chart documentationPrepare and restock exam rooms, sample areas, and physician workstationsHelp maintain efficient patient flow throughout the officeIdentify delays or workflow concerns and communicate them to the Manager or SupervisorReport equipment issues promptlyPerform assigned opening and/or closing responsibilitiesReception & Patient SupportThis is a cross-functional position, so you will also assist with front-office responsibilities as needed.Patient Check-InGreet and check in patientsCollect copaysVerify referrals and required documentationScan insurance cards, identification, prescriptions, and other documentsSchedule and reschedule appointmentsAssist with incoming telephone callsPatient Check-OutSchedule follow-up appointmentsProvide patient instructions and appropriate paperworkProvide medication and instruction printoutsProvide orders/scripts for outside testing when applicableHelp ensure patients understand their next steps before leaving the officeWhat We OfferWe value our employees and offer a benefits package designed to support our team.30-minute paid lunch break for full-time employeesMedical insurance — Option 1 employee monthly premium covered by the PracticeDental and Vision coverage available with a minimal payroll deduction10 days Paid Time Off5 days Paid Sick Leave PTO and sick time are prorated based on date of hire and hours worked401(k) / Roth retirement plan for eligible full-time employeesAnnual uniform allowance for full-time and part-time employeesMonday–Friday scheduleOpportunity to work alongside an experienced cardiology team
