Medical Assistant / EKG TechnicianWe are seeking a dependable and experienced Medical Assistant / EKG Technician to join our busy cardiology practice. This is a cross-trained position combining clinical/EKG responsibilities with front-desk support.Qualifications1–3+ years of medical office/clinical experienceExperience performing 12-lead EKGsAthenaOne experience strongly preferredCMA/RMA/CCMA and BLS preferredStrong computer, communication, and patient-service skillsDependable, punctual, organized, and team-orientedComfortable working in a fast-paced physician practiceWilling to rotate between clinical and reception dutiesResponsibilitiesRoom patients, obtain vitals, and perform EKGsReview and update patient information and documentationMaintain exam rooms and support efficient patient flowCheck patients in and outCustomer service; friendlyCollect copays and verify referrals/documentationSchedule and reschedule appointmentsAssist with phones and other front-office responsibilitiesWork closely with physicians and clinical staffScheduleMonday–Friday, between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., based on physician schedules.Benefits30-minute paid lunch for full-time employeesMedical insurance – Option 1 employee premium paid by the PracticeDental and vision coverage available10 days PTO + 5 paid sick days401(k) / Roth plan for eligible full-time employeesAnnual uniform allowanceNo regular weekend schedule
