Job description
Election Day WorkerThis position works the election poll sites only on Election Days and 1-2 trainings per Election.Responsibilities:Effectively communicate with voters and other Election Board WorkersBe able to find voter names in the Electronic Poll Book, check voter ID, and process voterEscort voters to voting machines, and retrieve ballot for the voterAssist voter when neededSet-up polling place the morning of the ElectionAssist in closing the polling place at the end of Election DayQualifications:U.S. Citizen18 Years of age or olderRegistered voter in Riley CountyResident of Riley CountyMust be able to attend mandatory trainingWork at least a 14 hour day without leaving the polling placeCannot be on the ballot or related to anyone on the ballot in the precinct where appointed (except for Precinct Committeeman or Committeewoman)
