Electrical ApprenticePhoenix Electrical is looking for a dedicated Electrical Apprentice to join our team in Calhoun, GA. In this role, you will work alongside our Master Electrician, gaining mentorship and hands-on experience in the installation, repair, and servicing of electrical and electronic systems. As a key team member, you will help ensure projects are completed efficiently while upholding our commitment to professionalism, respect, and exceptional customer service. Apprenticeship allows you to work and earning wages while developing technical skills and on-the-job knowledge from a Master Electrician. Specific Responsibilities:Aid with all general electrical projects and service calls. Install, maintain, and repair existing equipment.Follow instructions from Master Electrician.Safely and effectively use various hand tools for tasks like fastening, shaping, measuring, and cutting, requiring practice and knowledge of tool-specific techniques.Ensure customer satisfaction.Help maintain a clean, organized job site and service truck.Follow established processes and procedures.Operate with safety as a primary concern for self and customer.All electrical work meets or exceeds current National Electrical Code as well as local jurisdiction requirements.All projects are completed in a high workman-like manner.Show yourself as professional and knowledgeable to help win new referrals and repeat business.Ensure a quality installation experience for the customer.Job Requirements:Must be a motivated team player, looking to SucceedBasic knowledge of NEC and local electrical codesAbility to perform physical requirements: climbing ladders, crawling underneath houses, and being physically able to lift heavy objects as necessaryProfessional appearance and demeanor, with excellent communication skillsProficiency to navigate phone/tablet-based technologyPositive AttitudeTeam player who can work independentlyAbility to read and interpret blueprints and drawingsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong work ethic and gritComplete 90-day probationary periodValid driver's license and clean driving recordMust have dependable transportationMust submit and pass a background check and drug testHigh School diplomaThis position offers opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.
