Electrical AssemblerCompany: Nesco Resource - on behalf of our client Location: Ballston Spa, NY Job Type: Full-time Salary: $20.00 -24 per hour DOE Schedule: 8-hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Overtime as needed Job Description: Our Client, a leading name in the industry with a global presence, is currently seeking Electrical Assemblers for their state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Ballston Spa, NY. With a rich legacy of over 30,500 converters and 35,000 on-board systems installed in trains across 30 countries, Our Client continues to uphold its reputation by nurturing a team of talented individuals who are the backbone of our success.Summary: Responsibilities: Perform mechanical, opto-mechanical and electrical assembly work with minimum supervision. Provide assistance to the Engineering organization to assemble system for prototype or one of a kind assembly. Responsible for assembling a complete system from the ground up (frame, enclosures, electrical cabinet, opto-mechanics, robotics). Responsibilities include system preparation, crating, and shipping/receiving of product. Occasionally assist with material management ECO generation Records keepingRequirements: Strong mechanical aptitude and an ability to improvise. Minimum 3-5 years experience in a Mechanical Assembly role preferably in a technical environment. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings is a must, both mechanical and electrical. Physical requirements: Standing and walking for short periods of time.
