Electrical AssemblerCompany: Global Power ComponentsLocation: Milwaukee, WI (onsite 5-days/week)Hire Type: Temp-to-Hire (3+ months)Overview:Global Power Components is a privately held, growing manufacturer of UL steel fuel tanks, trailers, large generator enclosures and modular metal enclosures for housing fully equipped electrical distribution and control equipment. As a result of continued growth, we are seeking Electrical Assemblers to work in our Electrical Assembly department to assist in the building of enclosures.Responsibilities:Pre-assemble electrical kits from inventoried components & GPC fabricated componentsLight fabrication work – drilling, forming, wire striping and crimpingMaterial HandlingWorking with Electrical Engineering, Production Supervisors, & Team LeadsSupport the installation needs for various electrical equipmentRequirements:Detail Oriented with the ability to learn to read blueprints and bill of materialsAptitude to learn GPC manufacturing processesAble to read measuring devices, such as tape measureAble to troubleshoot and problem solveHighly motivated with a desire to learn and advanceAble to communicate and work well with othersMust pass competency test and pre-employment physical including drug screenPhysically fit – able to lift 50 pounds and climb ladders
