At Fives, we all have a part to play in achieving our common mission.Your role will be:Comply with company safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work areaAdhere to quality standards, ensuring assemblies meet/exceed customer and company requirementsComplete assemblies on time while working either individually or as part of a teamAssemble all electrical and mechanical aspects of control panels and other related itemsRead and interpret electrical schematics, from which wiring charts and notes are developedPull parts from inventory based on bills of material and work with purchasing to resolve missing partsDocument changes and corrections to any and all drawings, descriptions, bills of material, etc.Perform inventory management functions as needed, including receiving and shipping tasksOther duties as assignedPrevious experience with building electrical control panels including mechanical assembly and wiring Ability to read and understand electrical schematics, layout drawings, and assembly instructions Mechanical/electrical aptitude required to diagnose and solve issues arising during manufacturing Experience using basic electric/pneumatic hand tools and small machinery (drill presses, punches) Experience using overhead cranes and hoists preferred Experience using a tow motor preferred Experience using MS Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred Experience using ERP/MRP (SAP) software applications preferredBenefits Comprehensive benefits package featuring coverage for the majority of health insurance premiums, along with company-paid life insurance, short-term disability (STD), and long-term disability (LTD) 401(k): 6% match and immediate vesting Paid vacation, sick and volunteer time 12 paid holidays Parental leave Tuition reimbursement Training and development Company social events … and more!
