Electrical Assembler$18.00 – $25.00 hourlyUpTalentWe're looking for assemblers (with electrical experience) to join our team in Shreveport, LA! Pay Rate: $18+ / hourWeekday Day: 7am - 5:30pm (Monday - Thursday) with some mandatory OT on FridaysWeekday Night: 5pm - 3:30am (Monday - Friday) - $3 shift diff. with some mandatory OT on Friday night - SaturdayWeekend Shift: 5am - 5:30pm (Friday - Sunday) - $2.50 shift diff.Job SummaryThe Assembly and Test Operator is responsible for assembling and testing products, and for troubleshooting and resolving issues. Responsibilities:Assemble components of all products, selecting the correct tools and fixtures.Test assembled products. Troubleshoot and resolve problems associated with the assembly and testing of products.Read blueprints; identify components; use pertinent tools and rework techniques; operate equipment, dimensioning and setting tolerances of mechanical parts and assemblies.Create labor records for all transactions.Ensure good housekeeping within own work area.Take personal responsibility for safety and adhere to relating Risk Assessments.Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement.Qualifications and ExperienceHigh school diploma, General Educational Development (GED), or related experience.Must be mechanically adept; able to use a variety of hand and power tools.Ability to read, interpret, and carry out written and oral instructions; write legibly.Experience working with assembly related operations or equivalent preferred.
