Labor Solutions, LLC Location: Northbrook Job Type: Full-Time Pay: Starting at $20.00 per hour .
We have an immediate opening for a Mechanical Assembler to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities
As a Mechanical Assembler, you will:
Assemble mechanical parts, components, and finished products according to engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment.
Read and interpret bills of materials (BOMs), work instructions, and technical documents.
Inspect completed assemblies to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.
Perform basic testing and troubleshooting of assembled products.
Identify and report defective materials, parts, or equipment.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Accurately record production data and complete required documentation.
Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve assembly issues.
Follow all company safety policies and manufacturing procedures.
Qualifications
Required
High school diploma or GED.
Basic English communication skills.
Ability to perform basic math and counting functions.
Ability to read and follow technical drawings and assembly instructions.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Preferred
Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, or mechanical production environments.
Experience using hand tools and power tools.
Schedule
Monday through Friday
5:30 AM to 2:00 PM
Overtime may be required occasionally.
