Vacuum Instruments Corporation LLCVacuum Instruments Corporation LLC located in Ronkonkoma NY is a designer and manufacturer of Leak Detection Equipment.Job Description - Electrical Assembler - Entry-LevelWe have a position available to provide assistance with utilization of electrical/electronic testing equipment to troubleshoot and repair equipment.Salary starts at $20.00/hour, commensurate upon experienceJob Responsibilities include:Utilize a variety of hand and power toolsLayout and mount electrical components on panelInstall electrical conduit, pull and terminate wiringAccurately read and follow procedures, routing, and other work instructionsAbility to use electrical/electronic testing equipment to such as multi-meters, ammeters, to troubleshoot and repair equipmentRequirements:Ability to read and comprehend simple instructionsReliable, punctual and willing to learnEducation: High school diploma or equivalent trade schoolRead and understand electrical schematics a plus but not requiredAbility to understand oral and written instructions in EnglishSkills: Basic computer skills, and use of basic mechanical/measuring toolsMust be able and willing to work overtime and weekends when requiredMust have mechanical aptitude and good understanding of electrical principlesAbility to effectively communicate and work well with other team membersRequired Experience:Electrical Conduit and Wiring: 2 years (Preferred)Electrical Testing: 2 years (Preferred)Electrical Repair: 2 years (Preferred)Mechanical Aptitude: 2 years (Preferred)Work Location: In personBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceEmployee assistance programHealth insuranceLife insuranceOn-the-job trainingPaid sick timePaid time offParental leaveVision insurance
