Job description
Electrical AssemblersAs an Electrical AssemblerAssembles and solder electronic printed circuit boards, small mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies.The employee will use basic electronic assembly tools, instruments and equipment daily in the production of printed circuit boards and assemblies.Use standard electronic assembly hand tools, common power tools and continuity test equipment such as ohmmeters.Prepare wires for assembly measuring, cutting, stripping, tinning and attaching contacts, lugs and other terminal type devices using hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tools and soldering equipment.Apply and handle conformal coatings, sealants and adhesives.Perform less complex acceptance test procedures utilizing specific test equipment.Work in a team environment participating in continuous improvement activities.Keep assigned work area organized and clean.Perform other duties as assignedm - 11:00pmElectrical Assembly experience within a manufacturing environmentDetailed-OrientedRead Blueprints/SchematicsMust be able to pass a background and drug screen*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Benefits: Volt offers benefits (based on eligibility) that include the following: health, dental, vision, term life, short term disability, AD&D, 401(k), Sick time, and other types of paid leaves (as required by law), Employee Assistance Program (EAP).Volt is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits any kind of unlawful discrimination and harassment.
