Job Description Job Description An outstanding, full-time opportunity is available in the Grayslake, IL area for an experienced Electrical Controls Engineer with 8-15 years of electrical engineering experience and a strong background in industrial electrical power and control system design . This position offers a competitive base salary (up to $125k) and a comprehensive benefits package including medical benefits, 401K with matching, Short/Long Term Disability, Life Insurance, PTO and other outstanding benefits.
All candidates MUST have the following experience to qualify for consideration:
At least 8+ years of Electrical Engineering experience with hands-on experience designing electrical power and control systems for industrial equipment or machinery is REQUIRED.
Strong technical proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical , Microsoft Office/Excel, and Adobe Acrobat is REQUIRED.
Experience developing electrical schematics/diagrams , Bill of Materials (BOMs), control-panel/cabinet layouts , and technical documentation is highly PREFERRED.
Experience designing systems in accordance with applicable National Electrical Code (NEC) , UL standards , and customer specifications is highly PREFERRED .
Experience with relay-based control systems , electrical power distribution, instrumentation, and industrial control systems is highly preferred.
Experience with industrial ovens , furnaces , thermal processing equipment , or other complex industrial machinery is a strong PLUS .
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering is Required.
