Job description
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience. Valid California driver's license. Strong understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals. Experience designing electrical systems for residential and commercial buildings. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit. Ability to read and interpret construction documents. Knowledge of electrical power distribution, including switchgear, switchboards, panelboards, transformers, feeder sizing, panel schedules, branch circuits, and grounding. Experience with lighting design, photometrics, lighting controls, and Title 24 calculations. Ability to perform voltage drop, fault current, and arc flash calculations. Knowledge of California Electrical, Building, Energy, and Green Building Codes, along with SDG&E standards, NFPA, ADA, and IESNA standards.
