Electrical Project Engineer II (Industrial/Manufacturing)
We’re seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to support the planning, execution, and commissioning of industrial and manufacturing modernization projects. This role is hands-on and field-driven, working closely with plant teams, contractors, and engineering partners to deliver safe, reliable electrical systems across complex manufacturing environments.
What You’ll Be Doing
Support construction, installation, startup, and commissioning of major manufacturing equipment
Design, review, and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and power requirements
Work with low-, medium-, and high-voltage electrical distribution systems
Coordinate power distribution and equipment integration during plant build and expansion projects
Troubleshoot electrical and control system issues during installation and startup
Support PLC-based control systems (ladder logic), with exposure to Siemens and Rockwell platforms
Promote safety standards and best practices on all job sites
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, and contractors
Required Experience & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
3+ years of engineering experience in industrial or manufacturing environments
Hands-on experience with industrial power distribution systems
Strong ability to read and create 2D AutoCAD Electrical drawings
Experience supporting equipment installation, startup, and commissioning
Working knowledge of PLC systems and ladder logic
Proven troubleshooting skills in field-based environments
Preferred Experience
Siemens power distribution and/or PLC experience
QED Power or similar industrial power systems exposure
SCADA and electrical control systems experience
Relay protection and power system design exposure
Cost estimating and project support experience
Background in wire & cable or heavy manufacturing
