Electrical Engineer – Robotics Development

$55–$60/hour
12-Month Contract
About the Role
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to support robotics electrical development for a leading medical technology organization in Weston, Florida. This is an individual contributor role for an engineer who can work independently, apply sound engineering judgment, and contribute to the development and implementation of electrical systems used in advanced robotic technologies.
What You’ll Do
Support the design, development, implementation, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems and components.
Contribute to robotics electrical development , including electrical architecture, controls, wiring, power systems, and related hardware.
Apply engineering principles, procedures, and concepts to solve technical problems and support product development.
Evaluate electrical systems and apparatus, including motors, machinery controls, wiring, lighting, and power systems/devices.
Work independently with minimal supervision while making engineering decisions based on established practices and previous experience.
Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to support project and product development activities.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, specifications, reports, and other engineering deliverables.
Identify issues, troubleshoot electrical systems, and recommend appropriate solutions.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience with electrical engineering and/or robotics development .
Understanding of electrical systems, controls, wiring, power distribution, motors, and related components.
Ability to apply engineering concepts and procedures to practical technical problems.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and exercise sound engineering judgment.
Strong communication and technical documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience developing electrical systems for robotics or automated equipment .
Experience with electrical controls, motor systems, sensors, wiring, and power electronics.
Experience with electrical testing, troubleshooting, prototyping, or system integration.
Experience working in a highly regulated or product-development environment is a plus.
