Required Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in estimating electrical construction projects, preferably within the commercial construction sector.
Solid understanding of electrical systems, construction materials, applicable codes, industry standards, and installation practices.
Familiarity with estimating and project management tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, Accubid, or ConEst, along with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to review and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple estimating assignments while meeting deadlines.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
Approximately 3–5 years of experience in electrical construction estimating.
Relevant industry certifications are preferred, where applicable.
