Job Description Job Description About the Position
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Foreman to lead electrical crews and oversee commercial and/or industrial electrical projects in the Charlotte area. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can manage crews, coordinate with other trades, maintain jobsite safety, and ensure projects are completed on schedule and to a high standard.
Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily activities of electrical crews.
Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Plan manpower, materials, tools, and equipment for assigned projects.
Install, troubleshoot, and inspect electrical systems as needed.
Coordinate work with project managers, general contractors, and other trades.
Ensure work is completed according to the National Electrical Code (NEC), project specifications, and company standards.
Maintain a safe, organized, and productive jobsite.
Train and mentor electricians and apprentices.
Track job progress, materials, and labor.
Identify and resolve field issues before they impact the project schedule.
Perform quality-control inspections and ensure work passes required inspections.
Qualifications
5+ years of electrical construction experience preferred.
Previous experience as an Electrical Foreman or Lead Electrician.
Strong knowledge of commercial/industrial electrical systems.
Ability to read and interpret electrical plans and specifications.
Working knowledge of NEC requirements.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
OSHA 10/30 and electrical certifications are a plus.
