Commercial Electrical Foreman / Project SuperintendentSeeking a Commercial Electrical Foreman / Project Superintendent to join the team in the Baton Rouge, LA area. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for an experienced commercial electrical professional who can lead field operations on complex projects while helping drive productivity, safety, and successful project delivery across a growing backlog of work.What You'll Do as the Commercial Electrical Foreman / Project Superintendent:Lead day-to-day field operations on commercial electrical construction projectsManage and direct electrical crews, subcontractors, and workflow activitiesCoordinate manpower planning, production schedules, and project executionOversee installation of feeders, branch systems, underground rough-in, lighting, devices, equipment, and specialty systemsMaintain project schedules while ensuring quality workmanship and jobsite safetyConduct safety meetings and enforce OSHA compliance standardsReview project drawings, specifications, and installation requirementsTrack project progress through daily logs and production reportingCoordinate closely with Project Managers, General Contractors, and field leadershipAssist with material planning, procurement coordination, and short-term schedulingMentor apprentices, helpers, and junior electricians in the fieldSupport safe, profitable, and efficient project completion from start to finishMust-Haves as the Commercial Electrical Foreman / Project Superintendent:5+ years of commercial electrical construction leadership experienceProven experience leading crews and managing commercial electrical projects independentlyStrong understanding of commercial electrical systems, installations, and field operationsExperience coordinating manpower, schedules, and production activitiesAbility to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and electrical plansStrong communication, leadership, and organizational skillsStable work history with a long-term career mindsetValid driver's licenseNice-to-Haves as the Commercial Electrical Foreman / Project Superintendent:Experience on healthcare, institutional, higher education, manufacturing, or large commercial projectsOSHA and electrical safety training certificationsNFPA 70E Arc Flash TrainingNCCER Electrical CertificationEWP and Forklift CertificationsFirst Aid / CPR / AED TrainingExperience managing projects valued at $2M-$10M+Offers:$35-$45/hr base pay depending on experienceOvertime opportunities based on project workloadAnnual performance bonus programCompany vehicle or vehicle allowanceFuel card providedMedical, dental, vision, and life insuranceShort-term and long-term disability coveragePTO and paid holidaysStrong long-term advancement opportunities into senior leadership rolesStable backlog of large commercial projectsFamily-oriented culture with strong employee retentionPrimarily local work within the Baton Rouge region
