Job description
Electrical TechnicianMaintain electrical power for lighting and equipment, detect malfunctions, and perform electrical repair and installation.Responsibilities· Repair electrical systems and equipment and handle preventive maintenance.· Requisition material and supplies.· Install switches, receptacles and lights.· Complete work orders, PM's and other records in an accurate and timely manner.· Perform tests on power circuits, distribution panels.· Maintain the tube system.· Perform any emergency service required for the safety of personnel, building and equipment.· Perform generator maintenance and testing.· Assist in electrical related tasks involving building component installation, maintenance, demolition, renovation and repair.· Monitor facilities for needed repairs, maintenance, safety concerns and hazardous materials.· Respond to fire and other emergencies.Qualifications· High School Diploma or GED required. Two years of trade school, college, or equivalent preferred.· Journeyman licensing or certification preferred.· Must have a valid driver's license and maintain a safe driving record.· Preferred six years experience or comparable combination of education and experience.
