Job Description Job Description The Tri-state area's premier electrical contractor is seeking experienced Electrical Mechanics for our commercial division in Souderton, PA. As an Electrical Mechanic, you will play a role in ensuring the successful completion of various commercial electrical projects, overseeing and participating in installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in electrical work, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components in commercial buildings, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan and execute work assignments.
Collaborate with other trades and team members to achieve project goals and meet deadlines.
Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring proper functioning and safety.
Proficiency with:
EMT installation and bending
MC cable routing
Termination of receptacles, switches, lighting fixtures, panels, and equipment
Generator and ATS connections (preferred, not mandatory)
Installation of site lighting, bollard lighting, and underground conduit systems
Must be familiar with the NEC Code and local amendments
Ability to perform voltage testing, continuity testing, labeling, and troubleshooting
Ability to train apprentices and helpers
Strong time management and accountability
Must be self-directed, able to follow drawings without micromanagement
Works well under pressure and in changing field conditions
Must be punctual and dependable
