Apply today!Work type: Full time.Job Location: Wilmington, NCBenefits:Company matched 401KHealthDentalVisionVol LifeLTDPaid HolidaysPTOFree Basic Life and short-term disability.Reports to: The Electrical Mechanic will report to Electrical ForepersonResponsibilities and Duties:Experience, bending, threading and installing electrical conduit to include MC, EMT and ridged racewaysProperly and efficiently set up for wire install, pulling wire and operating wire tuggersCapable of terminating panels, setting fixtures, installing devices, installing cable tryMust be well organized, able to work efficiently and demonstrate good time management skillsEnsure special equipment needs are communicated to the foremanInterpret and understand job drawings to facilitate install of electrical systemAbility to establish material list and ensure material needs are communicated to the foremanAbility to achieve the weekly benchmark objectives established by the foremanMaintain familiarity with the plans, schedule and expectations for job based upon directives of foremanEnsure safe work practices and maintain a safe work environment for all personnelUtilize all assigned PPE as appropriate for the hazards encounteredMaintain a positive work environment which promotes a culture of safety and open communicationMaintain a personal tool cache including hand tools, drill, drivers and all necessary attachmentsQualifications:Minimum of 4 years' experience completing project installation of electrical systems in the commercial electrical industry.Experience working in the field completing assigned tasks and functions.Experience with trade inspections, dealing with various jurisdictions and inspectors are all areas which will benefit from experience.Associated trade certifications are beneficial but are not required for this position.Physical and Environmental Requirements:Should be able to sit, bend, stoop and lift items which occasionally exceed 50 pounds.Be able to climb, crawl and squat as the job demands.The work environment is outdoors in all types of weather to include extreme heat and cold.The individual is exposed to extreme conditions of a construction site such as loud noise, dusty environments, moving mechanical equipment, and vibration of mechanical equipment.R.D.
