$95,000-$115,000/Year + Company Vehicle
Lead and manage the operations of a growing production home electrical shop.
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Operations Manager with a strong background in residential electrical construction and team/shop management . This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of our electrical shop, coordinating crews and projects, managing materials and manpower, and helping the company continue to grow.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Manager, Electrical Superintendent, Electrical Foreman, General Foreman, or Electrical Operations professional who is ready to take ownership of an entire operation.
What You'll Do
Manage the day-to-day operations of the electrical shop and field crews
Schedule electrical projects, crews, manpower, materials, and resources
Coordinate multiple residential production home projects to meet deadlines
Provide leadership, direction, and support to electricians, foremen, and field personnel
Monitor productivity, quality, job progress, and production goals
Manage manpower needs and help determine when additional employees are needed
Recruit, interview, hire, train, and develop electrical employees
Hold employees accountable for safety, quality, productivity, and company standards
Manage electrical materials, purchasing, inventory, and material usage
Monitor job costs and identify opportunities to reduce waste and improve profitability
Work closely with builders, contractors, suppliers, and company leadership
Develop and maintain strong relationships with production home builders
Help grow the company's residential production home business
Review schedules and make adjustments to keep projects moving efficiently
Use computer software and business management systems for scheduling, reporting, communication, and project tracking
Identify operational problems and implement practical solutions
Ensure electrical work is performed safely, efficiently, professionally, and in accordance with applicable electrical codes
Serve as a leader, coach, teacher, and resource for the electrical team

Electrical Shop Manager
Residential Electrical Manager
Electrical Superintendent
Electrical Construction Manager
Electrical General Foreman
Senior Electrical Foreman
Electrical Production Manager
Electrical Department Manager
Qualifications
Strong experience in residential electrical construction
Previous experience leading electricians, foremen, or electrical crews
Experience managing schedules, manpower, projects, and production goals
Understanding of residential electrical installations, plans, materials, and applicable codes
Experience with material purchasing, inventory, and cost control
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
Strong communication skills with employees, builders, contractors, suppliers, and leadership
Comfortable using computers, scheduling systems, and business software
Experience hiring, training, coaching, and developing employees
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
