Washington, DC Metro Area
Birch, Stewart, Kolasch & Birch, LLP, an internationally recognized intellectual property law firm located near Mosaic District in Vienna, VA, has an exciting opportunity for a motivated and highly skilled Patent Attorney to join our team on a full-time basis.
Salary Range:
$160k - $180k
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree and/or Master of Science in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or equivalent
One to three years of substantial patent prosecution experience as a licensed patent attorney/patent agent at a U.S. law firm or in-house in the technical field of semiconductor manufacturing, telecommunication, digital/analog signal processing, artificial intelligence, software, and/or circuit design, etc.
Registration to practice before the USPTO
Strong technical writing and analytical skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
Fluency in Taiwanese Mandarin and extensive knowledge of Taiwan business culture strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
Prosecution of patent applications for leading global technology companies
Collaboration with clients and other professionals
Conducting case discussions with clients
Staying up-to-date on the latest developments in patent law
