Ownthe design. Influence the decisions. See your work come to life.
\ N
If you're an Electrical PE looking for more technical ownership without moving into management, this opportunity puts you at the center of complex industrial power projects — from initial design through construction and startup.
\ N
We're partnering with an established engineering and technology company in the Wichita area that's adding an Electrical Power Engineer to its team.
\ N
This is a hands-on, individual contributor role where you'll have meaningful ownership of the electrical scope, the opportunity to influence key design decisions, and the chance to see your work operating in real facilities.
\ N
WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY OWN
\ NYou won't be designing one small piece of a project and handing it off. You'll have visibility and ownership across the electrical power scope.
\ N Own primary and low-voltage power distribution design for complex industrial projects
\ N Take electrical systemsfrom concept through equipment specifications, layouts, and final design
\ N Apply your technical expertise to load-flow, fault, and arc-flash studies
\ N Design grounding and lighting systems that directly impact operating facilities
\ N Work with utilities to address service and power requirements
\ N Partner with vendors and procurement to select the right electrical equipment
\ N Stay involved through construction and startup instead of watching your designs disappear after handoff
\ N Visit operating plants, troubleshoot real-world challenges, and see your designs in action
\ N
You'll spend most of your time designing and engineering from the Wichita-area office, with approximately 30% travel offering the opportunity to support projects firsthand and see your work come to life.
\ N
YOU MIGHT BE WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR IF…
\ N You've earned your Electrical PE — this one is a requirement
\ N You have a BS in Electrical Engineering and 4–5+ years of hands-on power design experience
\ N Power distribution is your wheelhouse, and you understand how the overall system works
\ N You're comfortable jumping into AutoCAD when the work calls for it
\ N You like seeing what happens after the design leaves your desk
\ N Industrial sites and real-world engineering challenges sound more interesting than spending every day behind a computer
\ N You're looking for a long-term home where you can build technical expertise, own meaningful projects, and continue growing without being pushed into management
\ N
Bonus points if your experience comes from industrial, manufacturing, agricultural processing, chemical, food and beverage, energy, or another process-heavy environment.
\ N
You don't need to check every nice-to-have box. But if you're a licensed Electrical PE who knows industrial power design and wants more ownership of the work you're doing, we should probably talk.
\ N
WHY THIS OPPORTUNITY?
\ NBecause good Electrical PE opportunities don't always offer this much room to actually engineer.
\ NHere, you'll have the opportunity to:
\ N Own meaningful work from concept through construction and startup
\ N Stay technical and grow your expertise without having to move into management
\ N Influence decisions by working directly with utilities, vendors, and project teams
\ N Get out into the field and see your engineering work operating in real facilities
\ N Build for the long term with an established company that continues to invest, build, and innovate
\ N
BENEFITS & PERKS
\ NGreat engineering deserves more than a great paycheck. Here's what you can look forward to:
\ N Target base salary around $140K
\ N Profit-sharing opportunity
\ N Comprehensive medical, dental and vision insurance
\ N Paid holidays, including a holiday break between Christmas and New Year's
\ N Relocation assistance available
\ N Long-term career stability with an established, family-owned organization
