About the Role
Our client seeks a dynamic Electrical Project Engineer to manage and execute electrical projects from conception through to completion in Welkom . This role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management acumen, and strong communication skills. You will be responsible for ensuring that electrical projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will work closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams to achieve project objectives, playing a pivotal role in the company's success.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the planning, execution, and finalization of electrical engineering projects according to strict deadlines and budget.
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and risk management strategies.
Coordinate and supervise the work of project team members, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Monitor project progress, manage changes, and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise.
Ensure all projects comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Proven working experience (5+ years) as a Project Engineer or in a similar role, managing electrical projects.
Solid knowledge of electrical systems design, construction, and project management principles.
Familiarity with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and best practices.
Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills, with strong presentation abilities.
Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
