Job description
Electrical QA Inspector - Power Generation
Verto People is recruiting an Electrical QA Inspector to support site quality assurance on a power generation project.
You'll inspect electrical installations, check test documentation and work with construction teams to resolve defects before systems are covered, energized or handed over.
Key responsibilities
Inspect installation of switchgear, transformers, busduct and associated equipment.
Check cable routing, segregation and terminations against drawings and specifications.
Verify grounding and bonding installations before burial.
Review insulation resistance results, factory test reports and site testing records.
Witness required inspection hold points and document findings.
Raise nonconformance reports and follow corrective actions through to closure.
Requirements
At least seven years of electrical inspection experience within power generation.
Practical experience with medium-voltage equipment installations.
Working knowledge of NFPA 70 and NETA testing standards.
Confidence reviewing technical documents and maintaining accurate inspection records.
A relevant technical qualification or equivalent field experience.
Previous owner-side inspection experience and familiarity with digital construction and quality reporting tools would be advantageous.
