Electrical Control Panel ManagerEssential Functions:Estimate control panel and product wiring costsGenerate electrical manufacturing cockpit chartsManage the control panel assembly process and assign the necessary resources to meet project schedulesMaintain and update the database of electrical product costs / historyUpdate and maintain equipment preventative maintenance procedures and recordsAttend and input manufacturing strategy meetingsPurchase electrical componentsManagement and control of union personnel including hiring and layoffsEstablish and maintain electrical panel shop continuous improvement and cost reduction programsNonessential Functions:Perform other related duties as assignedQualifications:High School Diploma requiredEight or more years of position related experienceAble to read and interpret electrical schematicsGood understanding of the control panel assembly process as it relates to time impacts on product and fabrication costsGood understanding of union collective bargaining agreementsGood understanding of assembly and construction processes as they relate to time impacts on product and fabrication costsGood understanding of and experience with paint finishing related products and systemsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentProficient with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPointKnowledge of SAP is a plusAbility to understand and maintain project schedulesGood time management skillsGood organizational skillsGood verbal communication skillsGood technical writing skillsAble to effectively communicate with engineering and estimating departments, contractors, suppliers, and customersAble to work well independently and in a team environmentAble to technically define problems and propose solutionsAdaptable to change in a learning environmentStrong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a teamWilling and able to work overtime, weekends, and holidays when necessaryPhysical Demands:While performing duties of job, incumbent is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; and use hands and arms.
