Job Description Job Description The Electrical Superintendent is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all electrical work. This role provides field leadership and technical oversight to ensure electrical work is completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.

The Electrical Superintendent will manage electrical craft labor, subcontractors, and field supervisors while coordinating with project management, engineering, and safety personnel to support project objectives. Responsibilities include overseeing electrical installations, modifications, maintenance, troubleshooting, temporary power systems, and equipment operation while ensuring compliance with project requirements, industry standards, and safety expectations.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong technical knowledge, excellent organizational skills, and a proven track record of successfully executing complex electrical projects in industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, schedule, coordinate, and direct daily electrical work activities.

Supervise electrical foremen and women, craft labor, subcontractors, and vendors.

Ensure work is performed safely, with quality, efficiently, and in accordance with project schedules and budgets.

Provide technical guidance and support for electrical systems, modifications, troubleshooting, and field installations.

Coordinate with Project Management, Engineering, Operations, and Safety departments to support project goals.

Monitor productivity and resource utilization to ensure successful project execution.

Oversee maintenance and operation of electrical equipment, temporary power systems, and associated infrastructure.

Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with OSHA, nuclear, and company requirements.

Identify and implement opportunities to improve project performance, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency.

Prepare and communicate project status updates, technical findings, and resource requirements.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred.

Equivalent combination of education, technical training, and on the job related experience will be considered.

Special Requirements

Must be able to obtain OSHA 30 certification within 12 months of hire.

Must be able to work in both office and field environments.

Must be capable of traversing active construction and demolition sites.

Salary Range: $110,000 - $170,000 annually
