#jobalert | DIRECT HIRE | ELECTRICAL SUPERINTENDENT | Kansas City Metro
A growing, privately owned electrical contractor serving residential, multifamily, and commercial projects across the Kansas City metro is adding a full-time Electrical Superintendent. Company vehicle provided for approved business use
Company-sponsored health insurance
Two weeks of paid vacation and paid holidays
Eligible for the company bonus plan
Overview:
Lead field crews across active projects, from a single home to a multifamily build, with crews that range from a handful of people to 10 to 15.
Build and run the production schedule and manpower plan so crews, material, and equipment are in place when needed.
Keep projects on schedule, on budget, and to quality standards, and catch schedule, cost, and staffing problems early.
Lead the safety program on your jobsites, including jobsite expectations, incident response, and documentation.
Visit jobsites daily to verify production, workmanship, and safety, and to keep builders and customers satisfied.
Track labor productivity, material use, and job costing, and keep change orders, billing information, and closeout items current with project management.
Coach foremen and field employees, set clear expectations, and follow the company process for hiring and discipline with ownership.
Take over operating duties the owners carry today and give them timely, accurate updates.
Preferred skills and experience:
Strongly Preferred - Journeyman or master electrical license
Electrical construction experience with a strong grounding in field operations and project execution
Strongly Preferred - Experience leading multiple electrical crews and supervisors across competing priorities
Working knowledge of electrical codes, plans, specifications, permits, inspections, safety requirements, and quality control
