Overview
BachnerElectroUSAisseekinganexperiencedElectricalSuperintendenttojoinourgrowingteamandprovidefieldleadershipforcommercialandindustrialelectricalconstructionprojects.

AsanElectricalSuperintendent,youwillberesponsibleforoverseeingday-to-dayfieldoperations,coordinatingelectricalcrewsandsubcontractors,maintainingprojectschedules,enforcingsafetyandqualitystandards,andensuringworkiscompletedinaccordancewithprojectdrawings,specifications,theNEC,andapplicablecodes.Thispositionservesasakeylinkbetweenfieldpersonnel,ProjectManagement,clients,andothertrades.
KeyResponsibilities
Providedailyfieldleadershipandsupervisionforelectricalconstructionprojectsfrommobilizationthroughprojectcompletion.
Plan,organize,andcoordinateelectricalcrews,subcontractors,equipment,tools,andmaterialstomeetprojectschedules.
Assignworktofieldpersonnelandmonitorproductivity,workmanship,andprogress.
CoordinatedailyandweeklyworkactivitieswithProjectManagersandotherprojectleadership.
Read,interpret,andenforceprojectdrawings,electricalschematics,specifications,shopdrawings,wiringdiagrams,andinstallationrequirements.
EnsureelectricalinstallationscomplywiththeNationalElectricalCode(NEC),projectspecifications,applicablelocalcodes,andcompanystandards.
Coordinateelectricalactivitieswithgeneralcontractors,owners,inspectors,vendors,subcontractors,andothertrades.
Identifypotentialscheduleconflicts,materialshortages,designissues,andfieldconditionsandcommunicatethempromptlytoProjectManagement.
Assistwithshort-termscheduling,manpowerplanning,materialplanning,andprojectlook-aheadschedules.
Monitorprojectprogressandhelpensureestablishedmilestonesandcompletiondatesareachieved.
Maintainaccuratefielddocumentation,includingdailyreports,manpowerinformation,progressupdates,materialneeds,andprojectissues.
Reviewdrawingsandfieldconditionstoidentifypotentialchangesinscopeandcommunicatepotentialchange-orderworktotheProjectManagerbeforeproceedingwhenrequired.
Participateinprojectmeetings,coordinationmeetings,inspections,andjobsitewalkthroughs.
Overseeinstallation,testing,troubleshooting,andcompletionofelectricalsystems.
Coordinateinspectionsandassistwithpunch-listcompletion,commissioning,andprojectcloseout.
Maintainanorganized,professional,andproductivejobsite.
EnforceBachnerElectroUSAsafetypoliciesandapplicableOSHArequirements.
Conductorparticipateintoolboxtalks,pre-taskplanning,safetymeetings,andjobhazardassessments.
EnsureemployeesandsubcontractorsutilizerequiredPPEandfollowsafeworkpractices.
Leadbyexampleandpromoteacultureofsafety,accountability,quality,andteamwork.
MentorForemen,Journeymen,Apprentices,andotherfieldpersonnelandassistwithemployeedevelopment.
Performadditionaldutiesasrequiredtosupportsuccessfulprojectexecution.
Qualifications
Minimum5yearsofelectricalconstructionexperience,withpreviousexperienceinaForeman,GeneralForeman,Superintendent,orsimilarfieldleadershippositionstronglypreferred.
Industrialand/orlargecommercialelectricalconstructionexperiencepreferred.
StrongknowledgeoftheNationalElectricalCode(NEC)andelectricalconstructionmethods.
JourneymanorMasterElectricianlicensepreferredbutnotrequired,dependingonprojectandjurisdiction.
Demonstratedexperiencesupervisingelectricalcrewsandcoordinatingmultipleworkactivities.
Abilitytoreadandinterpretelectricaldrawings,specifications,one-linediagrams,schematics,andconstructiondocuments.
Strongunderstandingofconduitsystems,feeders,branchcircuits,electricaldistribution,equipmentinstallation,grounding,andrelatedelectricalsystems.
Experiencewithmanpowerplanning,scheduling,materialcoordination,andproductivitymanagement.
Strongleadership,communication,organization,andproblem-solvingskills.
Abilitytocommunicateprofessionallywithemployees,ProjectManagers,customers,inspectors,subcontractors,andothertrades.
Strongattentiontodetailwiththeabilitytoidentifypotentialprojectrisksbeforetheyimpactscheduleorcost.
MustadheretoOSHAsafetystandardsandcompanysafetypolicies.
Validdriver'slicenseandacceptablemotorvehiclerecordrequired.
Highschooldiplomaorequivalentrequired;electricalapprenticeshiporadditionaltechnicaleducationpreferred.
Mustbeavailabletoworkflexiblehoursbasedonprojectrequirements,includingovertime,occasionalweekends,holidays,andovernighttravelwhennecessary.
Mustsuccessfullypassabackgroundcheck,motorvehiclerecordcheck,anddrugscreen.
AbilitytowearrequiredPPEandcomplywithallproject-specificsafetyrequirements.
