Electrical Superintendent | (Data Center Focus)
Role Overview
Leads all field electrical construction activities from rough-in through energization and commissioning. Responsible for safety, manpower, schedule adherence, quality control, subcontractor coordination, and turnover of complex electrical systems. This role is heavily involved in mission-critical infrastructure such as medium-voltage distribution, switchgear, UPS systems, generators, and commissioning activities.
Key Responsibilities
Manage electrical subcontractors and field crews.
Coordinate MV/LV power distribution installation and energization.
Oversee switchgear, transformers, generators, ATS, and UPS systems.
Drive schedule performance and manpower planning.
Lead QA/QC inspections and turnover documentation.
Coordinate with MEP trades, commissioning teams, and owners.
Enforce OSHA, NFPA 70E, and site-specific safety programs.
Ideal Background
Journeyman or Master Electrician background.
10+ years of electrical construction experience.
Experience on hyperscale data centers, healthcare, industrial, semiconductor, or large commercial projects.
Strong knowledge of commissioning, utility coordination, and system startup.
Experience with MV systems, switchgear, generators, UPS, ATS, and EPMS/BMS systems.
