Job description

Job Description Job Description Position Title: Electrical Superintendent

Company Name: Beargate Electrical Contracting Inc.

Pay Range: $38-$45+ per hour, based on experience

Location: Saint Pauls, NC

Industry: Industrial Electrical / Controls

Job Overview

Beargate Electrical Contracting Inc. is hiring an experienced Electrical Superintendent to lead and oversee multiple foreman-led crews on industrial electrical projects, primarily serving the food processing and water treatment industries.

This leadership role requires strong knowledge of electrical systems, jobsite coordination, scheduling, and field operations. Our work includes both new project installations and ongoing maintenance work for long-term customers, creating a steady project pipeline and consistent year-round workload.

Because many of our customers operate around the clock, this position requires flexibility for overtime and weekend work as project and maintenance needs arise. These additional hours can provide strong overtime opportunities while helping us support our customers when they need us most.

The ideal candidate is a confident, safety-conscious leader who can manage multiple crews, maintain strong customer relationships, and consistently deliver quality work that meets design intent, code requirements, and project schedules.

Who We Are

Beargate Electrical Contracting Inc. is a rapidly growing electrical contractor specializing in industrial electrical and control systems, with a strong focus on the industrial food processing and water treatment industries.

We believe in building lasting relationships with our customers rather than completing one project and moving on. Many of our clients rely on us for both ongoing maintenance and future project work, allowing us to maintain a full schedule and provide our employees with long-term career opportunities rather than short-term, project-based positions.

We're committed to building a team-oriented culture rooted in safety, integrity, quality, and growth. Our company offers 100% paid employee health and life insurance, consistent work, and a supportive environment where hard work is recognized and career development matters.

Supervise and coordinate multiple active industrial project sites with foreman-led crews

Oversee electrical installation, maintenance, repairs, and project work for customers in the food processing, water treatment, and related industrial industries

Ensure all installations comply with NEC standards, engineering specifications, and Beargate's quality expectations

Interpret electrical schematics, construction drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation

Enforce jobsite safety policies and procedures and conduct routine safety meetings

Monitor project schedules, productivity, labor hours, and project milestones while proactively addressing delays or concerns

Collaborate closely with project managers to report progress, resolve field issues, and maintain project schedules

Manage workforce requirements, material deliveries, equipment utilization, and subcontractor coordination

Build and maintain professional relationships with customers during both project and ongoing maintenance work

Coordinate and respond to customer maintenance needs that may require overtime, weekend, or off-schedule work

Utilize digital tools and software to track project progress, submit documentation, and communicate with internal teams

Attend virtual and on-site project meetings, including Teams and Zoom meetings

Mentor field employees and provide foremen with technical guidance, leadership, and support

Help maintain customer satisfaction and strengthen long-term partnerships through reliable communication and quality workmanship

10+ years of experience in commercial and/or industrial electrical construction preferred

Proven supervisory or superintendent experience leading multiple crews

Experience in industrial environments strongly preferred; food processing and/or water treatment experience is a plus

Strong understanding of electrical systems, NEC standards, controls, and industrial jobsite practices

Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, drawings, and technical specifications

Comfortable using technology for communication, documentation, scheduling, and reporting, including email, smartphones/tablets, Teams, and Zoom

Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously
