Job description
Electrical TechnicianWe are hiring an Electrical Technician I/II to support electronics assembly, electrical testing, troubleshooting, and repair operations in a controlled manufacturing environment. This role supports production and Repair & Return (R&R) activities involving PCB soldering and rework, wiring harnesses, electrical and electromechanical assemblies, multimeters, oscilloscopes, automated test equipment, ERP/MES documentation, ESD controls, and IPC standards.Responsibilities:Assemble, test, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and electromechanical assemblies.Perform IPC-compliant soldering and rework on printed circuit boards (PCBs) and wiring harnesses.Use multimeters, oscilloscopes, automated test equipment, and other diagnostic tools to support testing and troubleshooting.Read and interpret electrical schematics, work instructions, and engineering documentation.Document repair activities and test results accurately in ERP/MES systems.Support quality activities, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.Perform work in an ESD-controlled manufacturing environment while following established safety and quality standards.Maintain clean and organized work areas in accordance with 5S and lean manufacturing practices.Escalate unfamiliar defects, failures, or technical issues to senior technicians or supervisors.Qualifications:High School Diploma0–4 years of electronics assembly or repair experience.Ability to read electrical schematics and follow controlled manufacturing and repair processes.Basic soldering proficiency.Basic understanding of electrostatic discharge (ESD) controls and safe electronic component handling practices.Ability to accurately document electrical testing and repair activities.Ability to lift 25–40 lbs. as required.Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.Preferred Qualifications:IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification or related experience.IPC J-STD-001 certification or related experience.Moseley Technical Services, Inc. is an AA/EEO/Veterans/Disabled Employer.Applicants selected for employment will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background investigation, which may include education, criminal, and work history verifications.
