Electrical Wiring and Assembly TechnicianJoin a growing team! Our client specializes in designing and building custom electrical switchgear and control systems for the power generation industry. They pride themselves on delivering innovative, cost-effective solutions while maintaining a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment.Job Summary:Under the direct supervision of the Shop Manager, the Assembly Technician performs wiring, assembly, and installation work on assigned switchgear projects. This position follows established schedules, safety protocols, installation processes, and work instructions to ensure quality and efficiency. Mon-Fri: 7:30 AM-4 PM $19-$21/hr Location: 520 E 1050 S, Brookston, IN 47923Responsibilities:Utilize common electrical, mechanical, and carpentry shop tools safely and effectivelyAssemble electrical sheet metal enclosuresPerform wiring and basic installation workMaintain a clean and organized work areaFollow all safety procedures and company policiesComplete assigned tasks and assist with general housekeeping dutiesPerform other duties as assignedQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent combination of education, work experience, and skill developmentMinimum 1 year of experience in electrical, mechanical, or assembly environmentsBasic computer literacyAbility to work effectively in a team environmentSelf-motivated with strong attention to detailCommitment to workplace safety and housekeeping standardsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Work Environment:On-the-Job Training ProvidedSafe Work EnvironmentHeated & Air-Conditioned FacilityCasual Work AttireFull-Time OpportunityBenefits:401(k) Matching3 Weeks PTOExcellent Health BenefitsPaid HolidaysAbout Midway Staffing:Midway Staffing is a dynamic and rapidly growing enterprise dedicated to connecting top talent with leading organizations.
