Role Description This full-time on-site Electrician role is based in Stevens, PA. The Electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in commercial, and light industrial settings. Daily tasks include reading and interpreting blueprints and technical diagrams, running wiring and conduit, installing panels and devices, and performing routine inspections. The role involves diagnosing electrical issues, troubleshooting system failures, and completing corrective repairs in compliance with local codes and safety regulations. The Electrician will collaborate with team members, communicate with customers as needed, complete work orders and documentation, and maintain tools, vehicles, and materials in good working order.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong foundational knowledge of electricity and electrical principles.
Candidates should possess practical skills in electrical work, including installation and upgrades of wiring, panels, and fixtures.
Candidates should possess abilities in maintenance & repair to perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and corrective work on electrical systems.
Candidates should possess troubleshooting skills to diagnose faults, identify root causes, and implement safe, effective solutions.
Candidates should possess familiarity with electrical engineering concepts relevant to system design, load calculations, and code compliance.
Valid electrician license or certification in accordance with local regulations is preferred; apprenticeship or equivalent experience is beneficial.
Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes, with a strong focus on safety practices.
Ability to lift, carry, and work with tools and materials, including working on ladders, lifts and in confined spaces as required by the job.
Effective communication skills, ability to follow instructions, work both independently and as part of a team, and reliably manage time and tasks.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites in and around Stevens, PA.
