Electro/Mechanical Assembler IILocation: Newark, DEOnsite Flexibility: OnsiteContract DetailsPosition Type: ContractContract Duration: 6 monthsPay Rate: $26.50 / Hour (USD)Shift / Schedule: Second Shift, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, Monday–Friday. Training will occur on first shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM) for the first 3–6 weeks.Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.Job SummaryThis role is responsible for building, testing, and inspecting electro-mechanical assemblies per specification, and may involve system-level assembly and sub-assembly test.Key ResponsibilitiesAssembles sub-assemblies and system-level hardwarePerforms in-process sub-assembly testing of product being manufactured, when requiredCompletes Device History Record dataPerforms assembly and test requirements for reconditioned hardware, when requiredPerforms packaging functions in Instruments Manufacturing, when requiredMaintains compliance with company policies QSR, ISO, EH and SSupports the day-to-day operations of manufacturing and service support to forecast, and regulatory compliance and company policies QSR, ISO, EH and SProvides training as neededParticipates in the reduction of risk and injury in the workplace by identifying risks and implementing controls to eliminate or minimize riskSupports internal departmental audits of manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with company policies QSR, ISO, EH and SPerforms other duties as requiredRequired SkillsProficiency with basic hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, torque tools, terminal crimpers, and soldering ironsAbility to follow written instructions such as assembly procedures, test procedures, and mechanical assembly drawingsExperience with basic mechanical inspection equipment such as calipers and indicatorsExperience with basic electrical test equipment such as multimetersEducation RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent experience and/or trainingBenefitsMedical, Vision, and Dental Insurance Plans401k Retirement FundAbout the ClientThis client is a leading medical device manufacturer operating an on-site production facility in Newark, DE, focused on women's health and diagnostic/treatment technology.
