Electro-Mechanical Quality Test Technician IIWe are looking for an Electro-mechanical Quality Test Technician II to join our team. This position will be based in Knightdale, NC. The Electro-mechanical Quality Test technician is responsible for performing final test and inspection duties on Low and Medium Voltage Electrical Distribution Equipment, such as Switchgears, Switchboards and Breakers.Shift Hours: 6:00AM - 2:30PMHourly Rate: $27.35You'll win us over by having the following qualifications:3+ years of experience in testing, inspecting and troubleshooting electrical equipment.Experience working with various types of test equipment and have knowledge to conduct Hi-pot tests safely.Ability to read and work with schematic drawings/layouts/wire lists, to include circuit troubleshooting.Ability to work with large power cables including correct method of crimping connectors.Proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.Preferred Qualifications:High School Diploma / GEDResidential or commercial electrical education or certificationsYou'll make an impact by:Performing final electro-mechanical inspections on units, ensuring adherence to company quality standards and guidelines.Conducting nondestructive tests on equipment according to specifications and drawings, troubleshooting failures, and implementing corrective actions.Preparing and maintaining inspection and quality reports, working professionally with Engineering and Wirers during tests and reporting findings.Adherence to Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety policies, with a commitment to continuous improvement and being a strong team player.Performing miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Management.About Siemens:We are a global technology company focused on industry, infrastructure, transport, and healthcare.
