Electromechanical Quality Inspector (Level 2)For more than 30 years, SQA Services has provided managed supplier quality services, including inspections, audits, corrective actions, remediation, and engineering support. We deploy experienced quality professionals globally to support client and supplier sites on demand.SQA Services is seeking an Electromechanical Quality Inspector (Level 2) to support a major data center infrastructure program at a supplier facility in Manitowoc, WI.This role focuses on inspection activities related to chillers, air handling units, structural fabrication, and electromechanical assemblies. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical inspection and welding inspection experience, along with the ability to support production quality activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.This is a full-time, on-site contract role with immediate need and potential for extension.Location: Manitowoc, WISchedule: Monday – Friday (40 hours/week)Shift: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexible)Duration: 6 months (potential extension)Key ResponsibilitiesPerform in-process and final inspections on chillers, air handling units, and electromechanical assembliesConduct visual, dimensional, and welding inspections per drawings and specificationsInspect structural fabrication, rivets, and mechanical assembliesSupport Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and witness inspectionsVerify supplier execution to inspection plans and quality requirementsReview and compile inspection documentation and sign-off packagesIdentify and document nonconformances and support corrective action closureProvide weekly updates on production and quality performanceUtilize Google Sheets, Gmail, and Google Drive for reporting and communicationRead and interpret basic wiring diagrams and engineering drawingsRequired QualificationsExperience performing electromechanical inspections in manufacturing environmentsStrong background in welding inspection and structural fabricationMinimum of: 4+ years of professional welding inspection experience, OR 3+ years of experience with ASME or CWI certificationAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and basic wiring diagramsExperience with visual, dimensional, and witness inspectionsComfortable using Google Sheets, Gmail, and Google DriveAbility to work independently on-site in a production environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience with HVAC systems, chillers, or air handling unitsExperience supporting data center or industrial equipment projectsFamiliarity with Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)Experience supporting supplier quality or third-party inspections$32 - $38 an hourNote:SQA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
