Job description
Microscope AssemblerThe role of Assembler involves working in various areas, initially focusing on the Pin Loading spot. This position requires precision work under a microscope for approximately 90% of the day, using tweezers to place pins into small circuit board test sockets. The pins range from 1.5mm to 2.2mm in height. This is a repetitive yet foundational role, as nearly everyone in the company begins their career in this position. Additional responsibilities include working with shaker tables to insert pins, followed by microscope work to fill remaining gaps, and training in niche areas such as solder balling.Responsibilities:Perform microscope work to place pins into small circuit board test sockets.Work with shaker tables to insert pins and fill remaining holes under the microscope.Participate in a 4-hour working interview from 7:00am to 11:00am to assess fit.Train in different areas including solder balling for cross-training purposes.Essential Skills:Proficiency in electronic assembly and microscope work.Experience with soldering is advantageous.Ability to work with very small parts for extended periods.Why Work Here?The company offers a clean, organized, and well-lit work environment with a climate-controlled facility resembling a medical device production setting. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
