Electronic Assembly Technician IJoin SmallHD – Where Precision Meets CreativityAt SmallHD, we design and manufacture cutting-edge on-camera and studio monitors used by filmmakers and production professionals around the world. From independent creators to major cinema productions, our displays provide creative professionals with real-time confidence in image quality.If you enjoy working with your hands, take pride in precision, and want to be part of a team building products trusted throughout the film and production industry, we'd love to meet you.We are looking for Electronic Assembly Technicians to join our manufacturing team in Cary, North Carolina. This is a hands-on role where you will help assemble and test high-performance professional monitors while maintaining SmallHD's quality and production standards.What You'll DoPerform mechanical and electronic assembly using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, nut drivers, and torque drivers.Follow detailed work instructions, build documentation, and assembly procedures.Assemble electronic and mechanical subassemblies.Assist with final product assembly.Perform basic inspections and functional checks to ensure products meet quality standards.Identify and communicate component, material, or documentation discrepancies.Follow established manufacturing and quality-control procedures.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation.Work collaboratively with production, quality, and other team members to meet manufacturing goals.Perform other production or assembly duties as assigned.What We're Looking ForRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Ability to read, understand, and follow written assembly instructions in English.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Good manual dexterity and comfort working with small components and hand tools.Basic math skills.Basic computer skills, including familiarity with: Email, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Google Workspace applications.Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.Strong reliability, organization, and willingness to learn.Authorized to work in the United States without current or future employment sponsorship.Preferred QualificationsPrevious electronic, electrical, or mechanical assembly experience.Experience working in a manufacturing, production, or electronics environment.Experience using basic testing equipment.Basic troubleshooting experience.Experience following detailed manufacturing or assembly documentation.Previous experience assembling electronic products or components.What You Can ExpectFull-time, on-site position in Cary, North Carolina.Stable day-shift schedule.Hands-on training to help you learn SmallHD products and manufacturing processes.Opportunities to develop additional assembly, testing, and production skills.Opportunity for advancement within production operations.Collaborative team environment focused on quality and craftsmanship.Why SmallHD?At SmallHD, the products you help build are used by filmmakers, cinematographers, and production professionals around the world.
